Solid State Relays

Solid state relays are specially designed for mechanical engineering applications and are optionally available with two drive voltages (3-32VDC or 80-280VAC). The outputs can switch to 15, 25 or 40A at 240V alternating current depending on the . All SSRs are equipped with a light-emitting diode to indicate the switching state. With extremely favourable pricing, these relays provide a competitive alternative to conventional contactors.

Characteristics:

  • Wear-free (without switching cycle limitation)
  • Quiet (inaudible switching operations)
  • Noiseless switching at the zero point of the alternating current

Being wear-free is particularly important. It allows very fast switching operations and thus enables the full utilisation of state-of-the-art technology. Microprocessor-controlled temperature controllers, such as the CR15, FP08, FP16, etc., can be used fully with downstream SSRs.
