FP08/FP16/FP16+ multi-channel control systems are the predecessors of the FP1600 modular multi-channel temperature control system. The units are also constructed in a modular fashion but have an aluminium housing that, depending on the functionality and number of control circuits, can be fitted with different plug modules. Thus up to 64 control circuits with appropriate sensor inputs can be provided in the maximum version.

The units do not have their own controls and can only be configured by the bus-compatible RS485 data interface. Up to 30 units can be operated on one RS485 bus.

Communication cards with a second interface are also available as an option. Thus apart from the permanent bus connection, for example, temporary service interventions are possible.

Different plug-in cards enable special unit add-ons, such as, for example, multi-channel temperature controllers, measurement data recording units or all-purpose, digital/ analogue equipped unit designs to be provided.
